Terms of Service
By accessing the GateCaster website (gatecaster.cgeosoft.com) or using the GateCaster game software and test builds, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
1. Test build license
GateCaster is currently an experimental test build under active development. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download, install, and run the test build solely for personal evaluation and feedback purposes.
2. Permitted use and restrictions
You agree not to:
- Redistribute, sell, lease, or commercially exploit the game client, server code, or website assets without express permission.
- Attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, or disassemble any portion of the software.
- Use automated tools to disrupt or overload the online game server or website.
- Share assigned private tester keys publicly.
3. Intellectual property
All art, code, music, world recipes, text, and visual designs of GateCaster are the property of Christos Georgiou and cgeosoft, or licensed under applicable open-source / CC0 terms as identified in the project documentation.
4. Disclaimer of warranties
GateCaster and the online test services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Development builds may contain bugs, undergo frequent updates, or experience downtime without prior notice.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall the author or cgeosoft be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your access to or inability to use the game or website.
6. Changes to terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the website or game builds after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
